i dont think i have to mention this but OF COURSE bobot is the one who introduced and at the same time FORCED me to watch this series. and as usual, i love it. thx bot.
so, like the rest of english series that i love, ie. chuck, dexter, walking dead. how i met your mother, chris and the list goes on, i hv watched modern family quite a few times and only god knows how much ive cried while watching it.yeah.i know.it sounds a bit lame to cry over a comedy. but, if u watch it carefully, u'll see how it actually teaches you about family values.and i strongly believe that this series portrays 90% of true things thats happening in a family. n i salute them for that.
and for this post, i would like to highlight modern family episode 21, season 2 - mother's day. how Jay, the most strong-hearted person in the family cried on mother's day after he found a poem that he gave to his mother during mother's day when he was 9-yr-old.
he still tried to hide his emotions while they are having dinner together but he ended up crying while telling stories about how great his mom was. his exact words are
"u only got ONE mom"
and yep.hes right.we'll only have one mom. and shes the one whos giving us life. and she should be appreciated more than anything else that we got in this world.
so, for this post, ill also include the video and lyrics - My Mother (Yusud Islam) and i hope if it cant bring a big change for our attitude towards our mother, it will at least makes us think about the sacrifices that she have made to make us who we are today :) love u mak :))
